Dr. John Husted

Has anyone had Dr. Husted for a DS?  What do you think of him?  What hospital does he send to?  Any info would be helpful,  Thanks.  Rona

I have had a consultation with Dr. Husted, and am planning a RNY to DS revision, pending insurance approval. I thought he was wonderful, and very intelligent!! He's done a lot of surgeries, and revisions, so I have the utmost confidence in him. There are several of his revisions over on the DS board also.

He will be doing surgeries in Somerset, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

I believe we spoke on the phone yesterday.
I work with Dr. Husted so naturally I am a bit biased.
Dr. Husted's new practice is in Somerset, Kentucky.

For anyone traveling to have surgery with him, we have tried to make the process as easy as possible. His office is right near the hospital and I have gotten some really good discounts for the patients for lodging.
