You'll have to let us know what Dr. Gellar's MO is for post-fills.  We don't have any other Gellar Banders that I'm aware of so none of us know.

I'm a Norton's girl too but from Downtown.  My doc has you finish out the day of your fill with fluids and back to regular food the next day!  Even I think that's a bit liberal so I do a couple days of mushies and then slowly move back into the solids.

Dr. Rodriguez from downtown has you do 2 days of fluids and 2 days of mushies and then back to solids on day 5.

Isn't it crazy how the docs ALL have their own way of doing things?

Any other gals wanna chime and and tell us what their docs post-fill diet is?

Got the scoop on Geller. He wants you on clear liquids for two days after the fill. After that you are free again!

Allen says liquids as tolerated for that day then use your descretion after that day. At least thats what he asks me to do. I do liquids anyway to test for restriction. My big fear is getting stuck and so I am careful with that!

OK! I LIVED!!!! Its stress. Todd is wigging out about the garage and the boat. his mo is freaking out about no electric and im stressed about them both.. Today I did ok... I did cheat with a peanut butter cracker.. but Considering there was pizza in the building I did good...
Dr.Shina makes you start over from scratch because it is in the Inamed hand book, or he loves to tortue us?? just joking no hate mail please.. I slimed on a pill that was cut in half to day so I know im a lil swollen... so Today I did full liquids not clear.. Im gonna skip the clear I think.. just straining out the fruits in the yogurt and doing protein drinks... I  tasted a bite of fried egg too.. so see I confess... I want to do the liquids cause I know the weight loss will jump start but man it's getting to me.!!!!
LaChelle, thanks so much for the advice!!!! your so supportive!!! the storm clean up is getting to me but I can handle this cause I have all of you!!!! Ladies thanks for talking me down off the ledge... I feel alot better tonight about it.. Especially after I realized I am a lil swollen!!!!

I'm a newbie (2 1/2 weeks post-op) and the clear diet was killing me as well. In order to stay in line and to boost my fluid intake, I started pounding sugar free popsicles. No more nutrition but I liked the crunch and it gave my mouth something to chew.
Good luck,
Jim

Drs. Weiss and Oldham ask you to have mushies for 24 hours after a fill.

Of course, they ask you to have clear liquids for only 2 days after surgery, then move to a day of full liquids, then to mushies and soft foods for the next weeks or so. At 2 weeks out, you're eating soft meats, rice and pasta, and whole grain cereals.

It's amazing how different doctors' protocols are, isn't it?
