OT:Can some medications have effects like this?? Probably TMI, sorry.
Hello everyone, I have a weird thing going on and yes, it's probably tmi so stop reading now if u're easily grossed out or offended. No this is not something gastric bypass related. Which I why I labeled it Off Topic but it's driving me nuts and I'd like some input.
Ok, first of all it's been almost 9 months since my husband had his vasectomy reversed. We do our next analysis at the end of Sept. We have tried this past month. I don't know alot about charting and stuff like that I normally mark down on the calendar the day I start my period. Then use ovulation predictors kits to tell when it's close to time I ovulate. If any of u can tell me anything about charting here are my starting dates since May. May I started Saturday May 10. June I started Sunday June 8. July I started Sunday July 6. August I started Thurs August 7. I ovulated Aug 19-Aug 20 according to my opk's. Aug 27th & Aug 28th I spotted just barely a lil bit. I usually only spot a day or 2 before starting my period.
Do I think I'm pregnant? Not really but I sure hope I am. My weird thing going on that is yes, more than likely TMI, is the fact that other than being swollen and sore (my breast) if squeezed, lil drops of moisture come out of my nipples. I've never had this happen before except after my daughter was born almost 7 yrs ago. They're not leaking huge amount, just small beads of moisture. They're extremely tender and sore. I started 2 new medicines last Thurs. Pristiq a antidepressant and my doc put me on B complex. Could either of those cause this issue? I have not started spotting yet or my period for this month. I'm praying like crazy I am preg but afraid to get my hopes up. I have my yearly female exam next week and I'll discuss it with my pcp then. I've bought a first response prg test but I don't want to take one until I'm actually late. I'm just weired out by this and I apologize for coming on here but I was hoping some of u might have some input. I posted on the post op pregnancy board but didn't get much response, it could have nothing to do with pregnancy, I may never be able to get pregnant, but my nipples just don't do this everyday.
The other meds I'm on I've been on for over a year so I don't think they could do this but the 2 new ones, I don't see why they'd cause this but u never know.

Ange I would go ahead and do a pregnancy test, because if your not pregnant discharge from the nipple is not a good sign if you are not pregnant. I would call my Dr and make an appointment and let them look into it. They can run a blood test to tell if your pregnant thats more sophisticated than over the counter pregnancy test.
