When we went camping to CUmberland Falls.  I made the family "walking tacos and myself taco salad.  Also, eggs (hardboiled) for snack.   Tuna for lunches.  Eggs and sausage for breakfast and lots of bottled water.

I'm sorry not to have any advice but I do want to stress that you stay hydrated, esp after pms week when your body needs fluid.

Oh, and more than anything else, have fun with your family!

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

PLAN PLAN PLAN

Take you own personal goodies (TWISTED BARS), crystal light to go packs, cheese sticks, cans of tuna, etc.

make a pot of campsite chili......although it's a little warm for that right now.

Someone on the band board makes omelets in a ziploc baggy the day before and then BOILS them for breakfast.

My personal motto though is don't TOTALLY deprive yourself.  You're going to be busy hiking and such so you might not eat as much as you think!!

Have fun and don't touch the poison ivy!

Thanks ladies.. I picked up some south beach cereal bars and packed some twisted bars to put in the cooler... Im gonna take peanut butter crackers and a case of water with crystal light.. I think otherwise I will be ok... I just wont get my protein drink.. might pack some slim fast drinks for the cooler... to help boost the protein...
The rest will have to work itsself out..

Sounds like so much fun.  I haven't went camping for years.

I used to pre-wrap fish and shrimp w/ veggies in aluminum foil, then pack in ziploc baggies so they don't leak...........and then grill them over a fire.  You could probably substitute other types of meats too.......I just don't eat any meat other than fish or seafood.

If you are going to be out and about, I think you have already got that covered!  Can you eat nuts?  Maybe packs of peanuts or almonds if you tolerate them.

Don't forget the water, and SF applesauce...........that is a staple for me when I am traveling............helps prevent constipation.  I know.  TMI.

Have a great time!
