The count down is on 15 days until I start my new life!
Congrats again LC
I made sure I had plenty of protein powder, drinks, soups, popsicles, jello, etc to cover the liquid stage. Water proof Band-aids for the incisions because I had stitches to cover & I was for sure taking a shower! I bought kiddie bowls & spoons to eat from and a mini-measuring cup so I could measure things out. I think that was about it.
Best of luck to ya!

Congrats! I know when you are excited, seems like the days just drag by.
I spent a lot of time "nesting". I cleaned my house, packed for the hospital, made lots of lists, and stocked up on things I would need to drink and eat after I got back home.
I also tried to get a lot done in advance for my work as I knew I'd be out for a couple of weeks!
If you haven't done it yet, take before photos and measurements. You won't regret it!!!!!
Best of luck to you

Yeah....here it comes......the only things I can suggest are dial liquid anti-bacterial soap and butterfly band aids. They are semi water proof and really hold that incision closed! They do not cover it so you can apply neosporin to it...but putiing them up and down like the steri strips helps that skin stay together. The dial soap is to wash the incisions and keep them clean. i learned that with Dale's heart surgeries.....really works!
