Ok...just got off the phone with Huber's and we have a reservation set right now for the 28th of September at 1:30 in the main dining hall. They do not have private rooms available so this is what we get. Everyone will be ordering their own meals rather than doing a family or buffet style meal. This way you can pick and choose to your own wants or needs. She said there are plenty of picnic tables or seating on the patio area (by the winery) for us to park and chat at if we would like. I know there is also seating inside as well if it is too hot that day!
So...I have to call and give her a confirmed head count a week prior so I need everyone to get theirs to me as well by the 15th! So far this is what I have:  Becka 3, Dawn 3, Vicki 4, Annie 2, Vicki R. 2, Amy 2, Me 2.   I know Vicki  you said something about Ken??? Check with him and see if would like to come! If there is anyone else that would like to come and break bread, chat or just hang out and talk.....let me know! The more the merrier as always! I am getting name tags this time though so everyone will know who is who! I suck at remembering real names so blame it on me...lol

Also, if you would like to be added to the email list for the KY OHer's...let me know! Just send me your addy and I will add you. This is not for forwards, etc...unless you specify otherwise. it is merely a way to communicate, maybe send a card of encouragement, luck, or just thinking of you! Let me know on that as well!

ok sending some PM's to get a better head count for you
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

I haven't told Richard yet but we'll definately be there....Heck, i'll likely just wake him up and tell him to get dressed and let's go, since if I tell him it'll go in one ear and out the other anyway.....kinda like vacation....he says plan it, pay for it, pack the bags and tell him what time to be there and what to wear.

When you called Huber's did you think to ask about spliting meals and/or getting the child's rate?  Not a biggie if you didn't though, maybe when you call them back for the final headcount.

You've got my addy already, feel free to include it!

No I did not ask, but I will with the count confirmation. Of course they push that buffet  so I told her we were  WEIGHT LOSS GROUP and that some could eat more than others and our food choices would vary too much for a buffett. They charge $15 per person for a buffett dinner and this does not include drinks. There were no kids rates with that either which I thought unfair since kids will be there as well. They are suppose to have live music there that day......Heck...just sit me at the winery with a sampler platter and i am good to go! J/K...but if anyone is ever intersted, they have different types of samplers where you can taste some of their wines according to your wine preferences..(sweet, dry, etc...) It is kool. They also offer some with cheese and crackers as well. Dale and I did this when we took the girls about 2 or 3 years ago. It was nice to sit by the fire and just wind down after the pumpkin patch! they had cocoa...but tried to slurp the last drop from each of the cups we tasted......winos for kids at14-12! They did discover wine is not all its cracked up to be at that age and thought they were all nasty! I had noooo problem with that! Keeps them from wanting to try it again!
