How much work should I expect to miss?

I should here the week of the 8th if insurance will approve. Realistically, how many days off of work? I have a desk job but I am up and down quite alot aday.

I have a sit down job...I was off work for two weeks... But I think if I had played my cards right I could have went back in a week.. But you are so tired the first two weeks it is nice to be off anyways..Plus getting your mind set doing liquids for the first week..

I took 3 weeks off but I work a very high pace hazardous duty physical job.  I wish I could have taken another week!
With a desk job, I would think a week would do.  But, everyone is different.  I'd put in for 2 weeks then if you don't need that much time, you don't have to take it.  Better to plan on the "long" side just in case!
