Accountability: Diet & Exercise for Monday August 25th

OK, you guys!  I'm going to add a link to a post here for those who are interested.  It's one of those flamin' things but many of us have follwed the Sandy R. guide and I feel those of you who might not mosey over to the Band Board before it dies out could miss it and it could make a difference to you and your usage of her guide.  Read it if ya want, digest it, take what ya want from it and throw out the rest!   I'm "kinda" burying it in the daily post since I'm not sure what to make of it myself yet and didn't want to make a bigger deal out of it by giving it it's own heading over here on the KY board.

FOOD

S:  StarBECK'S skinny cini dulce latte
B:  Snicker's protein bar
S:  hanful of salted peanuts
L:  a bag of 100 cal sun chips
S: 1 piece california roll (about three small bites in size)
D:  Leftovers (few bites of chili, broc salad, shredded BBQ chicken)


FLUIDS

10oz 1% milk
  6oz  coffee
17oz water
17oz crystal light
??

EXERCISE

40 minutes strength training and 40 minutes on the treadmill and I upped the speed today to 4mph for part of the way!!   I'll likely get a small bike ride in this evening as well since Gracie is diggin' the bike thing latey and I've got a sweet new ride too!!

LOL....our bike ride equated to the length of 3 houses!!  So much for THAT!

   HMMMM. I have Midwestern girl blocked because she is damn negative about the band I cant stand her.. I also heard crap about her and I know she doesn't like Sandy... I have Sandy's guide and its been more help to me than anything Norton's  has given me. I dont really go for the papaya thing either but what do I know? I think VickiR has said it works... Sandy gives out sensible advice so who knows....
  It's just part of the take what you can from it and throw the rest away..
 So blahty blah blah... Notice All the old banders come out to bash?? no hiding on the island for this one... Her band guide was Free and I have never received anything else from her so ... again... hmmm

MWG wasn't the one who caught it though.  It was Krista and TAW who are MUCH more credible.  Of course then the slammin' and flamin' started and it was just a total trashy post.  I'm not saying that Sandy is totally whacked out as I do think that some of the things in her guide make a lot of sense but something about the way she tauts herself as the" be all and end all" just doesn't sit right with me.  the whole thing about the extra accounts is just plain wierd!!

I just wanted those of us over here to be aware of what was going on.

It's like you said take what you want our of it and toss the rest.. There are some things SandyR says that I do shake my head at, but I like the guide... I love the way they get so riled up!!! wow!! Sandy apologized too on the board..  DRAMA AND WOMEN!!! lol

Thanks for the post about Sandy.  I will use the good tips that go along with what my NP advises. 

My band is still tight today but it is definitely stress related.  My car needs a new part $250.00  and had to buy granddaughter shoes and a few outfits before I send her home.  Not looking forward to a few unexpected expenses that have developed.  Once I settle down my band will.  This morning I could not drink my organic tea.

Breakfast - Zero, tried coffee, band said NO.

Lunch - I heated up some tomato soup w/crackers it went well.  I also ate a Luma chocolate bar.

Dinner - My band relaxed so I decided to eat while I could.  Ate one leg of cornish hen, not the skin, 1/2 cup pinto beans, 1/2 piece of cornbread, 1/2 cup of cabbage.

Spent a few minutes on gazelle, planning to work on tread mill later tonight.  As yet a little better than WORTHLESS.    z

Dawn, I will keep that in mind.  I am tired from running around today but tonight I am want to do a full workout.  Just a few minutes on all my stuff.

Ok...just read through the book of posts on Sandy....I am like you guys...the guide is still a good tool  and nothing more.  There are too many people who put themselves out there and pose as experts on different things...Dr, Meds, Calories, Protein, Water... I have just learned to follow what my Dr says and take all the other info as personal experience from another person.  He is the one who did the surgery and has the MD after his name after all! 

It seems they are on a witch hunt either way....if she did it or did not do it.  I have more crap on my own plate to deal with than to listen to all that!

  My two cents on the Sandy posts on the main Band board:  take everything you read hear with a grain of salt and never put people higher on a pedestal than they can keep their balance.  Above all, listen to your own doctor, use common sense, AND don't waste too much time reading all the negative things people have to say about others- life is too short to get caught up in the "stuff" some others want to burden you down with.

Now on to food things: B. Grande NF Chai latte gets me through the morning, L#1 at 10:00 South Beach peanut butter cereal bar, L#2 at 1:30 Lean Cuisine turkey & green beans- my fav!
Snack Pnut Butter Twister bar, D.  1/2 naked burrito from Qdoba.

A little floor exercise early this morning and on my feet most of day.  Hopin' Thursday is as smooth as today and I'll see y'all Thurs. evening at Suburban!

Damn...better put something on here from me....it was a bad choice day but calories and protein were good...

B: coffee w/ splenda and creamer
L: deli chicken breast and 2 slices pepper jack cheese
D: McDs southern chicken sandwich
S: Mcd's double cheeseburger.....stress eating this evening bad!

Calories: 1050
Protein: 64 grams
Fluids: 64 so far.....
