I have one Lil tip for ya!  When your surgeon comes in to see you right before it's time to get the show on the road, ask him to go ahead and put down an order for Chloroseptic spray.  A lot of people (including me) get their throat roughed up when the insert and remove the breathing tube.  That stuff will take the sting out and make it easier to talk for the first 24 to 48 hours!

Becka is right! My first surgery went well and did not hurt, but the second one smarted! Thats when I found out they put the tube in! That Chloroseptic does the trick! Remeber...no malls!

Sandi wanted me to post an update...she is in recovery and everything went fine. Just talked to Dr. Allen and she will be out of recovery in about an hour.

Ask for the ONQ system.  NO pain after surgery for a few days it keeps the area numb.  I loved it.  Works better than percaset any day. Amy K

Thanks for the update Nate....was getting worried when i had not heard anything! Thanks Dawn for the heads up about it being on here! Between worrying about her, Braedyn sick -waiting to hear from his Dr and Dale just being admitted here for his heart...I have been very on edge!
