KY OH Meeting for September

OK so are we going to Hubers????

I had dinner with Terri R from CA and the RNY board tonight, Ken1 from Pekin, IN was there as well as one of his friends who had RNY last December and has lost about 80 lbs.  We had good food and good conversation.  Alot of the conversation was about whether we were going to Huber's next month.

I just threw Hubers out there, but if you want I can try to arange something for maybe the end of September! Naybe the temps will be cooler and the pumpkins will be ready! What do you guys want to do? They have a resturant but the food is totally fattening! Do you want to maybe do a community picnic? They have a patio area with tables and chairs if I remember right....its off the winery area....Its a great cafe with delicious food thats more on the light side? Let me know.....I have attatched the link;

I was just all over their website and they will be having music for Sat and Sun each weekend! This would be a great place for kids as well.....I want to plan it but after I tried to plan July I am hesitant....

It looks like Sunday the 28th would be great for most people here.  Please feel free to put this thing together Lee Ann.  I want to combine the DS meeting with the KY OH meeting for this so remember that we will be looking forward to the Huber's fried chicken!  My birthday is the 29th!

Hubers sounds good to me.. Im on vacation the second week of sept.. and Becca is due to go here real soon... So after the 15th is great for me... anyone else???

I luv me some Hubers!! 

I will be on vacation from 9/19 (Friday)  to 9/27 (Saturday) so unless we opt for Sunday 9/28 I'm out for 2 weekends.  While I would LOVE to be there if it turns out that one of these weekends is better for everyone else by all means go and have fun!!

Remember though that I have dibs on the October OH meeting!!  That is the month we plan a big shindig at our house complete with fishing, bonfire, inflatable bounce, Karaoke, hayride, and of course "grills gone wild!"  It's mostly non-alcoholic but I don't mind BYOB if you don't get too snockered!  Basically, I ask each family to bring a covered dish or dessert and one or two 2 liters.  We will take care of the meats (dogs, burgers and chicken) and fill in the gaps once I know what people are bringing. We are only 17 miles from downtown Louisville straight up I-71.  The tentative date is October 11.  Every one of my OH friends are invited and if need be, I can provide ground for primitive camping!  I'll send out more info right after vacation!

Hubers if fine with me.   Vicki sorry didnt get out there this afternoon, I have come down with the crude everyone has I guess, my daughter and one of my grandsons have it so they have generously given it to me

LeeAnn it will be fine if you plan it!! promise!! Unless I have the crud again I will be there cause I can bring the brat child!!!!!!!
