Radcliff KY anyone?
Hello everyone,
My name is Pam and I live in GA. I grew up for many years in Ky, my dad was stationed at Ft Knox and then my parents bought a house in Radcliff. At the time it was a brand new subdivision called 'Whispering Hill's'.
My dad got orders to Japan and my mom took us to live in VA till his tour was over, and thats where we remained. MANY great memories happened to me during this time in KY!! I think of many of my dear friends often, only wishing I could find some of them.
I am 41, born in 1967, my maiden name was Clark.
I'm on the website because I am going to have WLS soon.
It would be wonderful if anyone lived in the same area where I was, especially if it was someone who was there wayyyy back then lol.....and that possibly knew me or some that I will mention below. God i can FEEL the gray hairs pushing out my scalp as I type lol!
Mudge Elementary was where I attended while on base, and then went to Radcliff Junior high, I was about to go to North Hardin High school.
I'm going to name a few I would love to find that I can think of off the top of my head PLZ understand I realize its a weight loss forum but I thought this might also be a way to find some old friends :) Thx for reading

Hi Tracy!
Thx for writing! How neat it was to remember Vine Grove! made me think of Elizabethtown (E-town) and Bardstown too.....lol............
I remember going to Bowling Green KY to some amusement park, cant think of the name right now dern it! lol.......Ronnie Milsap was like the owner of it.......and we always went to Kings Island! How neat is it that while i was in VA they had a park called Kings Dominion and it was IDENTICAL to the Island....all the rides were the same just different names! I loved it...
Im looking forward to the day when I can ride a rollercoaster again and not be stuffed in like a little sausage lol....
Keep in touch, Im wanting to come back to VA and cruise around all the old stomping grounds one day :)
Have a super weekend!

VG is still the quaint little town is always was. I work for the only dr here and the office is smack dad in the middle of downtown by the railroad tracks if you remember where those were. Bardstown is beautiful, we go there quite often & do the carriage rides.
The amusement park in BG...would that be Beech Bend? Thats the only one I know of there right now.
ITs fun to reminise about the 'good ol days'.
Take care
