Would cantaloupe and watermelon be considered a mushie? any other suggestions?Having close friends over tonight to watch olympics I'm going to serve omelets, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and homemade bread. I think I should be able to eat omelet w/veggies, tomatoes with out seeds and maybe some melon. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

You just made me hungry again!
I think it sounds good......I am leary about bread.  I usually toast it well.

annie, i had to just break down tonight and tried some watermelon... i picked it up at the store last week and finally decided i just had to take a bite..(or two)
last wk i really got hungry.. fixed some vegetable soup...cornbread...
i dipped some of the soup out with some softer veggies and added small piece of cornbread ...let it get soggy,,, and then ate it..---it was really good..--my mother disabled and living with me and my husband at the present... when i get home from work , i usually have to fix them supper and then find something i can eat... ( they don't really like my mushies).
today for lunch..... i went to arby's.. got baked potato..,, with broccoli and just small amount of cheddar.... took it back to office and mixed it up real good....good mushie... i have been limiting potatoes to about 2 times a wk....i have eaten eggs with crunchy toast crumbled in them...
i figure if is is mushy or soggy , it's okay... jus****ch calories...
you are doing great......
