When i was there for my post-op, I told Dr. Tanner I was really having problems with heartburn... He was going to prescribe pepcid then...
when I talked to regina, i told her I was having still having issues with heartburn and i did not know if this feeling could be caused by H-----hernia. or what ?
It just feels uncomfortable...

I had the same thing about a week out from surgery.  I described it as feeling a golfball in my lower throat.  I did go in and he prescribed Zantac for it although he said it didn't really sound like a reflux issue.  It subsided on it's own after a few days.  Seems like this is a common complaint by the newly banded over on the main band board.  I still take the Zantac daily due to taking a prescription anti-inflammatory for my arthritis.  The theory is that it helps protect the tummy from the other medication.

Please feel free to ask us ANYTHING!!  I don't think any of us mind at all!

I have had it if I eat too much or take that one bite too much. Also if I take my pills after I eat. Now I take my meds on an empty stomach with milk or hot cocoa. This also helps prevent them from sticking.  The warmth helps everything relax as well.
