whats next ?

Sent my packet off last week, called today to confirm that the Dr office recieved it.... My packet is at the Drs office.... My packet is at the Drs office....  Even though I have been eating/cooking right, I've been reducing all of the things that I won't be able to eat post op. Worried that after all these years that the body might have a hard time if I just go cold turkey LOL...  This week we are going through the pantry and empty all temptations, I have already stocked up on Crystal light, SF jello, SF pudding, Chick and beef broth.  I'm still learning about the protein shakes and from what I have read here I don't want to get a bunch of anything because with my luck what I try and like now I may not like post op.

Now I have to educate my SO, although I have told him I will be able to take care of myself and I have read to him some of the posts from those that are just home from the hospital he is still worried that he won't know how to take care of me. Bless his heart, he says that taking care of me when I get home from the hospital is his way of doing his part but he is worried that he won't know how to make the shakes, how much to make sure that I drink, etc.... Ya just gotta love him.....

Now that my packet is at the Dr what happens next?    

I kept a chronology on my profile page of everything that I had to do, went through, or related to this party! Feel free to check it out.  It is just my experiences with Dr Allen....yours will be a bit different since I am sure our insurance, health issues, etc.....are not the same, but it gives you a guidline. best thing to do is ask some of your Dr other patients!
