Good Morning all!
Yeah...I got some sleep and that always makes me a happier person! I just wanted to say again that I really enjoyed the meeting last night! And all the chatter afterwards! I am so glad to finally meet Donna, Sandi, and Ams there! There were alot more new faces, but I suck at remembering names! The other banded couple that sat next to Richard...you brought up some interesting questions! It still amazes me to go to these meeting as see how much people are changing! I am going to have to take a pad of paper and diagrams everyone and put their names on it so I can remember them! I am good with faces...normally...but thats as far as it goes! Sandi...you are sooo funny! You have a great sense of humor and I hope that you hear about your date soon! Remember....keep squeeking...you will get that oil! Donna...girl you need to put a pic on your avitar! I was floored when I got to talk with ya. I am always like that when I meety someone in person that has been on here! So if I looked at you or Sandi weird...I apologize! It just me registering the face with the name! Lachelle...glad to finally meet the girls! They had alot of patience considering they had to endur all us loonies! I was really glad you came and met with the Kentucky group! Dawn, Missy, Becka and Vicki....you guys crack me up! Yes Richard...you too! I think the vodka in the jello would be an awesome idea....maybe we need to do a pitch in! OMG...the combos we could come up with!
I feel so blessed to have all you lunatics in my life and I always walk away feeling like I am on such a HIGH!!!! No, I swear, Dawn and I did not smoke or drink anything after everyone left! It is like Becka said...you can all have friends, but no one will understand, sympathize or support you like someone going through the same thing! I am still continuing to learn and explore this whole journey and you guys have helped me soooo much! My OH friends ROCK!!!!
Oh...just an add on....I went to Target to get diapers and wandered over to the protein bar/drink section by the pharmacy. Well just an FYI...they sell those bars by the box or individually and I got a box of the twisted and two singles of another two kinds to try. I would rather spend around a dollar for one to try than $7 a box and not like them! Gave me some ideas for something new to try to use them in too...but I can't tell ya yet...
Just thought for people on that search for flavor and protein that this might be a good place to get some at! oh...and by the way...alot of them pack more cal and less protein that the ever loved Snickers bars! Read the labels...they are interesting!

Lee Ann thanks for the input. I have never bought twisted bars. Next time I'm in target I might try one. I noticed that a lot eat them. I seem to do pure protein bars but I am flexible.

Good Morning to you as well!!
Well, my little girl actually got on the bus without any cajoling on my part!! She practically bounced right on the thing!! I was actually thinking (and I'll admit I was hoping too) that she'd balk at the idea of getting on the bus for the first time so I could turn around and take her to school for her first day of Kindergarten. I guess I just have to assume they got her off the bus and into the right classroom.
Last night was an absolute ball!! I really enjoyed meeting all the new people (Autumn, Sandi, Donna, LaChelle) and all of us regulars too!
I'm all for the protein jello shots!! LOL, I think I could use one today!!
For all my support group pals....try to keep October 11 open! I'm just now in the planning stages for our annual "Talley Taterfest 2008" here at our house (Last year it was a cozy lil party with over 100 people) All dictaters, spectaters, sweet taters (me!) and lil tater tots are invited to an all day shindig that will include fishing, a bounce for the kids, a bonfire, and whatever else we can think of! I'll pass along more info once I get my head wrapped around more of the details!

Support group makes me feel so jazzed for the next week after.. I really get a boost off of the downtown group.. It was great to see Jennifer at the downtown one, is it me or she more relaxed in the downtown one?? Maybe it's just the atmosphere?? We need to get Connie down there and see how much fun we could have...

I think the room set up needs to be closed in a little more! I felt like I was yelling across the room at Vicki! Oh...I guess I was! lol.....No...seriously.....it is hard to hear some people when they are talking. Even when I do not have a cold. Oct 11 is penciled in for ya Becka! And right before the downtown meeting to boot! We can get chattering out of our systems!
Dawn..loved the chatting too...creepy guys need a life though! Funny how they only acted goofy when they were coming back around the cars...trying to impress maybe?! Not happening!
