Happy Monday to all!  Did everyone survive the weekend??  I'm sure glad it's over!!  I'm going to get this thing started real quick since I'm stinky from the gym and need to hop in the shower!

FOOD

S:  My usual Skinny Cini dulce latte (10oz  milk, 6oz coffee, S/F syrup and 3 Splenda)
B:  Twisted protein bar
L:  1.5oz deli ham (4 slices) and 1.5oz Colby Jack cheese (2 slices)
S:  Sliced tomato with salt (I'm craving salt)
D:  We're going to Ruby Tuesday's tonight for a birthday dinner for FIL.  I've not been there since being banded!!  Wish me luck.....especially with NOT getting stuck since I've yet to balance that part out!  LOL.....my gig might be up since none of them know i've had WLS!!

FLUIDS

EXERCISE

40 minutes weight training and 45 minutes on the treadmill!!

I thought I might just add real quickly in case anyone was wondering.....no, I'm not too tight.  Or at least I don't think I am at this point.

I am having trouble though figuring out what does and doesn't work with the new fill level in my band.  I don't get hung up on everything but I am finding it takes much more concentration on my part or I will get hung up VERY EASILY.  Learning to eat slower than I ever have before is going to be the kicker!!  Funny thing though is I can still chug fluids!

OK, now I am headed to the shower!

B-20 oz of propel water

L- twisted protein bar and propel water

S- 1/2 cup of honey nut cheerios

D- left over green beans and potatoes and sliced tomatoes and corn on the cob... its a veggie night no meat

late night snack -  twisted protein bar....   Thanks Becka I am hooked on them now...

Hi,
Having a crazy day.  Not really eating, just snacked w liquids today.  I am stressed.  Can't get in touch with Bariatric office, called office number, cell number and e-mail.  It has me a little worried.  I tried to get them last week for a fill and started again today.  No answer.  I know Weiss and Oldham moved one of their office but this is really weird. 

Today's intake:

Breakfast:  2 cups of organic tea, 2 (20oz) bottles of crystal light replenish, 1 qt Powerade Zero

Lunch:  1/2 cup tuna salad, 1 small slice of watermelon, 4 chocolate chip cookies

Dinner:  3 oz roast, 1/2 cup collard greens.  I will probably drink a protein drink to get in protein. 

Additional liquids, 1 qt powerade zero and 1 (20 oz) bottle of water.

Have not done my exercise yet.  The grandkids and DH are working my last nerves right now  I have cooked and washed dishes, clothes and butts all day and it's not over yet.

  HELLO!!! Greetings, all!  I am posting less and less but am s-l-o-w-l-y seeing some improvement in wls success.  Big week-end in Indy kept me thinking about what I was eating as we met with future outlaws & inlaws.  Here's today's intake:
B.  1/2 cup Kashi cereal with 1/4 cup 1% milk & tall NF Chai latte
L. Chinese buffett, ate steamed shrimp in sauce, 1/4 c. rice, 1 crab rangoon, wonton soup
D. Grilled chicken salad at O'Charley's, 2 rolls (Yikes)
Snax: 2 sf fudgesicles.  Carried a twisted bar in my purse today in case I got stranded and will probably eat it sometime tomorrow (Becka, I will join the chorus of saying "Thanks" for turning me on to the Twisted bars)
Hope everyone has a great week!  OH, almost forgot- 40 minutes in the pool early this morning!

ohhhh something odd
  I havent said a whole lot but I hae had a lot of pain with my band
Like severe gas pain or something... But my teeth were hurting too, Well since I got them severed out of my head like a torture chamber... THE PAIN IS GONE!!!!
Now it could be all the pain meds but we will see. Could be all the liquids too!!!  SO we shall see!! 
  I really think its my gall bladder though not my band.. but we will see!!!

B:   1 slice toast with peanut butter and orange marmalade
L:   1 Garden Veggie Patty and salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, mushroom, cheese, and beans, and 3 croutons)
S:   1/2 of a Lite N Fit Yogurt
D:  1 Garden Veggie Patty, 1 slice cheese, and 1 plum
S:  Soy Weiner and beans
S:  Cheese and salsa on a low-carb tortilla and 5 Cherries

Exercise:  Walked a mile at the track before going to work.

Today was my late day so I worked until almost 9 pm.  I am very tired this evening.  Have been on my feet A LOT today.  My back is killing me.

What are the twisted protein bars?  Where do you buy them?

Sams club or target if you are really lucky!!!
19.99 for a box full!!!!
peanut butter, vanilla and choclate all in a box!!!
they are goooddddddddd
not sure if they would be to sweet though for RNY... not sure how that stuff works...
I have the box here if u want I can look at the sugar content

I TRY not to go over 5 g of sugar or 15 total carbs at one time!  I can actually handle up to 8 g of sugar and even up to 20 carbs at one time but that is it.

Well phooey, it looks like they are over your limit!  Wonder if you can do half at a time though??

Here's the numbers off the chocolate covered ones:

 190 calories
    6g fat
  21g Carbs (13g sugar)
  15g protein

I am going to assume the vanilla and peanut butter covered ones are about the same in counts.
