Accountability: Diet and Exercise for Monday, July 28th
I have a confession.
I've been bad......very, very bad over the last couple of months! I have been very inconsistent with my food selections. One day will be good and the next day is a free for all!! That coupled with the fact that over the last couple of months I have exercised VERY little means my scale is laughing at me!!
I won't use Richard as an excuse but it was easier when I was doing this ALONE. Now that we both are supposed to be following the same rules and seeing him not do so has my warped mind thinking I can do it too!!
Well, NO MORE!!!
Today we BOTH started out with a new attitude. Richard got up and went jogging while I made the coffee and his lunchbox (I'm June Cleaver w/o the pearls) with healthy choices. Once Gracie was awake and acting human, she and I went up to the YMCA and I did a FULL WORKOUT!!! I did back off my cardio to 30 minutes as I am going to go 5 times this week (did I mention that my scale is laughing?).
I'm scheduled for a fill next week (Tuesday) and would like to see the scale back to my low point of 193 by then (I'm 5 pounds up from there right now). If I can get things turned around by then I might push the fill back by a couple of weeks.
Ok, now that I have that out in the open I feel MUCH better!!

snack: Twisted protein bar

Good job. I was doing well until I went to New Orleans. The food is not skinny food nor are the drinks. I recomend anyone planning a visit to avoid the Hand Granaide as it will blow up in your face. Taste good but 1/2 hour after your done, your done. I couldn't even drink the water YUCK. THe place smells like a dirty trash can. It was much better 8 years ago during my last visit. Although staying in the heart of the French Quarter I did alot of walking. Boubon St was only 2 block away. Had the granaide the first time on Bourbon , made sure I didn't go back. Becky I wish you the best along with Mr. Entertainment. I too am tired of my scale laughting. Amy K
Ya think New Orleans is still recovering from Katrina? I would have thought the first areas to be redone would have been the tourist areas since it's such a huge industry for them. I've heard though the the summertime is the most "fragrant" time of the year! I'm sure there were some really cool tihngs there too though! I love seafood and cajun flavorings so I'd have come back packing a few extra pounds!!
I'm glad you're back though! Lee Ann and I were wondering where you were!!
