Hi everyone
just wanted to ask does anyone have hypothyroidism and has the lap band ? and what has your weight loss been

I have hypotyrodism but have not had my lapband surgery yet. My doctor says that the weight will still come off if I do what they tell me to. I have been told that some people are even able to get off there meds for this. Weight can cause a number of problems including hypothyrodism. My insurance requires that I lose 10% of my weight and I have een having good luck with this except for the last 4 or 5 lbs. I hope to have that off in the next two weeks.

Lap Band on 09/14/07

I do I do.. and Im happy to announce I have lost weight fantastically till th last two months.. Which is some of my fault and some of the bands being loose fault...
If you go in and read my profile it will give you most of my stats.. expecially if you read the archived months... I lost on average 2 or more pounds a week every week by following the band rules and exercising.... I still take my medication for my thyroid every day...
