Hi everyone.
just wanted to know about Dr wheeler, and Dr Smith, at kdmc  are they good anyone have surgery with them? Dr. Smith gave the seminar i was at he seemed very professional, very informative. seemed to have all the answers, i 'm trying to make a decision about the lap band.
has anyone had lap band for a long time, and what do i need to expect down the road.I know so many questions, but need to know.

I had Dr. Wheeler, and I had gastric bypass, if you want to know my experience about that, I will tell you what you want to know, e-mail me. but I don't have a clue about the lap band, I am so glad I had the surgery done. Lisa

I used Dr. Tompkins who is in practice with Wheeler and Smith at KDMC.  He was wonderful and so was the nursing staff at KDMC.  I felt very well taken care of.
I had the RNY, am now 5 months out and have NO regrets!

Dr Tompkins did my RNY and my gallbladder surgery. I have no compliants. I would do it again tomorrow. Email me if you have any questions. I have updated pics posted on my profile as well.
