everyone just wanted to know if anyone out there has had lapband surgery in arh in hazard ky.

I had mine in Pinehurst, N.C. but if Hazard ARH is ANYTHING like the one here in Harlan, I would seriously think twice about having it there if I were you. Go to Louisville!  This surgery is tough to get through with the best of doctors I certainly wouldn't want one of the butchers like we have here to get a hold of me.  I don't mean to sound negative or cynical at all and I could be way off base but I would check into it twice if I were you. Good luck!

Check this Dr out on the forum  he does surgery at ARH, its usally the surgeon you need to worry about and his care, not the hospital itself

i have been to the seminar at kdmc, that's who i am going to, just wanted something closer home,  but maybe that's not the best way to go. Dr Smith was the doc that was at the seminar.
was real informative.what about kdmc anybody had surgery with them,
what was it like?
