Support Group @ Norton Surburban...how was it??

For the 2nd month in a row I missed support group meeting...yikes! I had intended to go but ran short of time....and missed it. HOW WAS IT?  I hope it was good...someone who attended, please write & tell us! Thanks!

This was my first time to go to the Suburban group meeting and I really enjoyed it!  Most of meeting was a panel of 3 RNYs and 2 lap banders sharing their experiences with an emphasis on their family or spouse support.  I especially enjoyed hearing from Wanda & her DH because she is close to my age (in the 59-63 age group).  Several others spoke up and shared too.  It was informative and encouraging to hear different one's stories of success and a few struggles along the way.  I also enjoyed grabbing a bite with Vicki & Becka & Richard afterwards.  Dawn, great to see you too- sorry you couldn't join us at Q'doba.  Pat, hope you can make next month's meeting.  Putting names, faces & stories together is a real morale booster.  Hope to see more of y'all next time.

Thanks, Jeanie!  I appreciate hearing about the meeting...Wanda is very inspirational as she really lost her weight rapidly & is a great bandster! She is there every month & I've enjoyed hearing her story.  I hope that I can make the next meeting...I noticed it was protein tasting...I'm especially looking forward to the September meeting which will focus on Plastic Surgery.  Have a great Friday & weekend!
