Band is still intact! Yeah!!!
OK...here is an update real quick before my boss catches me online!
I went to see Amy, nurse practitioner for Dr Allen. She was stumped when I told her about the water gushing around my port and called DrAllen. He was actually between patients and came over to look at me. He was also stumped so he said he wanted to give me a fill so that he could see if it would take or not. If he got resistance inserting the needle we were good to go. If not...major problem! I got a fill and there was resistance! I was so relieved! I told him I was sched back the end of Aug for a fill but he said to keep the appt and get another one then. He said that when they did the revision they did in fact drain the band and only reinserted part of the saline but without my chart in front of him he could not tell me how much was in there. I did tell him I had dropped another 6 pounds since the revivsion and he was happy with that. So....I am up and about. I ate a Wendy's chili for lunch and could not fini****! Yeah...a bit more restriction!

He could not explain it. He has never heard of this or seen it in any of his patients..neither had the Dr that was with him (from NewYork) He said he wants to back in aug to see how I am doing restriction wise and then we will see what needs to be done. Nope...no fluro...nothing. I do feel a bit tighter after the fill today though, so maybe that was just the fill going in like the lady said on the main lap band board!
