Some of you may remember me from the board last year,  I was going to go to Louisville.  My parents lost their home in a tornado, helping them has put me way behind.  I had been to a meeting at Nortons in 2006 but I got scared off when I started listening to my brothers stories about his RNY that he had that year in Michigan.  Then in October last year I went to another meeting and I was all ready, had my mind made up, I was getting all of the paperwork and insurance approval when the tornado hit.   Today I got some pictures back from my sons teeball game,  that is when it hit me.  There is a pic of my son up to bat, behind him is a HUGE lady that I didn't reconize.  The more that I looked at the pic I realize that that HUGE lady is me.  Reality has really hit me hard today, I can't tie my shoes, I can't bend over and pick a piece of paper off the floor.  I'm so ready to get the tool that I need to help me to lose this weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want so badly to be a loser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
Hope your going to get on the wagon to stay. I am from the Paducah area. I will be having my surgery at Vanderbilt because of insurance restrictions. My boss had her surgery 2 years ago in Paducah. Dr. Argotte is her doctor. She has had wonderful results. She now wears a size four. She had lapband.
I went to a support grop in Mayfield where some of the patients didn't like Dr. Argotte. They didn't explain why. I think alot of it is just who you see yourself not hearsay.

Before I moved to Southern Indiana, I lived in the Paducah area.  Dr. Argotte was going to be my wls surgeon if I had stayed in the area.  I liked him, and meeting with his staff was really comforting and you could ask them anything.  Good luck either way.  I have Dr. Mark Shina in Louisville and Norton's and wouldn't trade him for anything in the world! He is the best! And so is his staff!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
