nsv victory and new life after band

  Good wensday morning Kentucky... I had a wonderful day yesterday and wanted to share it, here..
  Tuesday 9am.. mom mom calls, says we are going to holiday world with all four grandkids... This was a huge leap for me because I haven't done amusement parks in three years or more. The last time I had a hard time keeping up with my then toddler and my best friend had to help me with her... So I go to my room and pick up my now size XL  two piece bathing suit!!, grab the kiddo's clothes and head out the door.. 
   I walked and walked and played with my niece and nephews and my gorgoeus lil girl for 9.5 hours straight.. I  wore a two piece bathing suit in public., granted I have things that sway that shouldnt and I have a pouch that I would have hid before BUT I seen bigger in suits and worse and I enjoyed myself immensely!!!
  There were times yesterday, where I got teary eyed  looking at my daughter and realizing that life in my world is  very good and its gonna be even better as it goes on!!!!
  Thank you lapband, and thanks for my life back!!!!

What a sweet story! Thanks for telling us. Most of the time those NSV are even better than the falling scale.

    triciaann thanks for reading it and responding.. This has been one heck of a ride!!!  I still have 30 or 40 pounds to loose and I could do it if I'd buckle down hard but I cant get my  head in the game, but I will!!
  I know your at the begining stages but its all worth it! I promise you it is!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!! Its got to be a great feeling!! You have been through alot and worked so hard and helped us others out as well. You really are an inspiration and should be so proud of YOU!!!

 Lee Ann, I thought about the story Missy told at support group about not being able to take her daughter around BushGardens and got teary thinking that I dont want to EVER get back there..
  I felt incredible yesterday, and still do but I couldnt wait to get here  and tell you how awesome it was!!!!!!!!!!

  Thanks Beck. I hope I do inspire people.. This board Inspired me to have surgery and I am so glad it did.. You will be telling a similiar story in a short while, you just wait and see!!!
