I'm semi-homeless for a few days....posting may become erratic

OK, we are having hardwood floors installed this week.  Baseboards and carpet come out today and tomorrow and then they start laying the floor Wednesday.  EVERYTHING from the living room, dining room/parlor and all the closets has been shoved into my kitchen.  The carpet is staying in the bedrooms thankfully!  I have just enough room to cook but nowhere for us to sit and eat.  Richard has decided we'll do a lot of take-out this week (good - but not good)  We have the den in the basement to watch TV in but need to be out of the house during the day.

I'm going to try and keep Gracie busy and out of the house all week so one day we will do the zoo, another day we will go swimming and I'm thinking we will go to King's Island (I refuse to give Kentucky Kingdom my $$) as well.  Gracie's last swim event is this Wednesday (preliminaries for the championship but I don't expect her to qualify).

Long story short, (yeah I know, too late) my food choices are going to SUCK and I'm not sure i'll be able to post much since we'll be on the move more than we'll be home.  Please do keep the accountability posts going and I might be able to post a day or two myself (LOL.....even the funnel cake at KI ).

Just wanted my regs to know why i'm going MIA and I hope EVERYONE has a great week!

 

well have fun....   and at least you will have the den when your home and tv to watch.  The storms other night took out my TV, daughters TV her curling iron and blow dryer.    Thank god my computer was on a surge protector.   So now I have to watch a little black and white tv that is older than dirt.    We have a big screen tv but the lightning on hit one side of the house and it was my computer room and daughters bedroom  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

well if you eat a funnel cake take a bite for me cause I love those things

oh sound like fun...........lol......yep we did our house last yr.........i was lucky enought my kids were all ready on there own.... so it was just me and my husband........i bet it will be just beautful .. when its all done...it will all be behind you soon.....have fun at king island.......

Have a good time Becka, I am not a funnel cake woman but I love the lemon shake ups.  Have a good time.  I had hardwood put in my family room and I'm lovin it.  Wish I had it in the bedrooms (I hate to vacuum).  DH says no way.  I have ceramic tile in living room and foyer.  It is so much easier to maintain.  Take care,  Z
