Yes, I take chewable calcium, just not as regularly as I take my vitamin. I find that I tend to get constipated if I take calcium every day! SoI eat plenty of lite yogurt, string cheese, and cottage cheese , and I drink 1 or 2 cups of skim milk daily. Both Spring Valley and Viactiv brnads are little chocolate cubes that make you think you're getting a Brach's chocolate chew! I like Spring Valley brand better than the Viactiv calcium chews.
Like you, I wasn't in the habit of taking a daily vitamin, but I've fit it into my routine and now rarely miss a day. Good luck with your new habit!
