pre-op test

is it a good idea to go get the pre-op test done before you go see the dr that is going to do your surgery will it help thing go faster i know i am going to have my echo on 24th stress test 25th  blood work on 26th  hope it help make things go better i can take the test results with my to dr larsons off on the 2nd of july

 My PCP was familiar with what my surgeon's office would want, so I had most of my tests done before I even saw the surgeon, Test results went to PCP and to surgeon's offices.  Hope things go smoothly for you!

I had a little trouble with my pre-ops this week. I found out yesterday the results had not been sent to the insurance company so they denied my coverage. My surgeon had scheduled my surgery for last week , but I never heard from anyone until I called the insurance company yesterday. I see my PCP Monday and hope to convince her to recheck all of my paperwork. I really can't figure out how this happened in the first place since I have had no problems with cardiologist and pulmonologist faxing their results to her. So I guess this is a small delay , but it seems huge to me. I have also had to change my info from tricia ann to annieh because OH stopped recognising I had already become a member. Maybe it was caused by the full moon. annie h or tricia ann, I answer to just about anything.

Nothing is fast in this process..LOL.. At least thats been my experience... I do however have my Stress Test scheduled for Monday am... and Pulm. Test for July 1st.. Hopefully soon..hopefully soon.. is what I keep telling myself!!! LOl.. Good Luck! Sandi
