This one time....in
Band Camp.....

Today is a much needed "playing hookey" day for Gracie and I.  We are laying low and other than going to Sam's Club here in a little while we aren't leaving the house!  I let her skip swim practice this morning since she has a little bit of a sunburn and is dragging butt with energy right now.  I'm not doing much in the way of housework either today other than washing dishes and taking out the trash (bare necessities).  We have been on the go every day for 2 weeks with this whole swim team thing!  I think 12 days of practice out of the last 14 days is simply a bit much for a 5 year old.  I am LOVING summertime weather though!!  The Cicadas, are another story..... FOOD breakfast:  Starbeck's skinny cini dulce latte (10oz milk and 6 oz strong coffee) lunch:  1cup brocolli salad (leftovers) snack:  1 slice of leftover thin crust pizza dinner:  1/2 naked chicken burrito snack: small pack of peanuts FLUIDS 10oz milk 17oz crystal light 8oz water 8oz light fountain lemonade 32oz crystal light EXERCISE I'm bad and never made it to the gym!  Oh well, there's always tomorrow!!

 Becka, I hear ya on the runnin' out he door and being gone 1/2 the day or more- sometimes ya just gotta stop and enjoy the moment!  Grandkids are out back in the kiddie pool, Papa watching, so I'm taking a minute to log in today's journey: Ex. 40 minutes swimming at Milestone, B. Mocha Madness protein shake at Milestone (155 cal. 23 g. protein), L. 1/2 L.C. spaghetti, snak, 1 string cheese & 1 Kroger turkey stick, Projected intake for later: snak of 40 cal. SF fudgesicle, D. cookin' salmon on the grill tonight,  a little green beans and strawberry w. cottage cheese for dessert (yum, yum) special K protein water & good ol' Louisville tap. Happy summer!

Breakfast - sausage and egg biscuit sans biscuit
lunch - chicken salad made with ranch dressing
snack - handful of cheetos
snack - 2 cheddar cheese squares
dinner - crawfish etouffee and a few bites of peanut butter pie
snack - toppings of a small piece of supreme pizza
snack - ????
