Losing and Gaining during a Stall?
It seems I have hit another stall. No big deal I thought but the scale this time keeps going up and down. Is it normal to gain and loose during a stall. The gaining part is what worried me. It seems like I loose 5 pounds and then go up a few and then loose it again. I have lost about 95 pounds so far and I just want the loose those 5 more pounds to make it 100. I have a lot more to go but I wanted to loose 100 by this summer. The stall is going on now for about 2 1/2 weeks. How long have your stalls lasted?
Hi Nicole.....
Sometimes its just the body adjusting and it takes some time. I'll drop weight quickly and then I'll just sit at a weight for a while. Then it'll start again where I'll drop weight again. If you're following the plan with the water, protein and exercise......and you're not losing, check to see if you're losing in inches. Also...starting into this heat, make sure you're staying well hydrated. It's so easy to get dehydrated. I know we have to drink a lot of water anyway but when I add extra water I do tend to jumpstart the weightloss again. Don't know how that works!
If I'm not losing in pounds or inches, then I know it's time to re-evaluate my eating. For me, I've usually let too many carbs start creeping back in and that puts an immediate halt to my weight loss and even start the see-saw action of losing and gaining.....which is what I've been doing the past couple of months.
