I posted this on the Band Board as well but will put it here too and then I have to go get some housekeeping done before I go to the gym this afternoon!!
Hey there Dawn,
So is Dr. Shina's scale always 5 pounds higher than yours?? If so, you need to remind yourself that you are losing the same amount of weight each time! It's like the scales are saying the same thing but in two different languages! If you have a dial scale you could adjust your home scale to read the same if you wanted. Just fix it right after you come home from your next appointment. Then threaten to cut any fingers off that fiddles with the dial!
I use my home scale since it the one I step on daily (lol....actually multiple times daiy!). I know there's about a 2 pound difference in what Dr. Larson's scale reads and mine. As long as it stays consistently 2 pounds difference i'm a happy camper. this last time Dr. Larson's scale was VERY generous and even weighed my in at .2 pounds less than mine and that was WITH my clothes on!! Next time I go in I have to remind myself of that so if it takes it back I won't get my feelings hurt!
