Well its Filter in tomorrow and lapband surgery Wed. the 4th  Any sage advice from those "been there done that" bandsters?

It won't be long now!! My best advise is to not let yourself compare your journey to others!  Lap-band usually does have a slower rate of loss than any other surgery choice and even trying to compare yourself with another bandster can yield different results!  Don't get discouraged if it goes slow at first because until you get your first fill you usually have little to no restriction and can (if you let yourself) eat just as much as before surgery. Make sure you have gas-x strips and a heating pad to battle the post-op gas bubbles.  Also, don't forget to walk, walk, walk to break up those gas bubbles too!! Good Luck!
