Updates and such

Hello Everybody! I know I've been MIA since finding out that I was denied.  I haven't heard anything new yet, gonna call Dr. Tom's office today for an update.  My life has been a whirlwind recently.  I am currently at the beginning of a job hunt.  I found out at the beginning of April and had in confirmed towards the end of the month that my position is being eliminated.   I am currently teaching a team from India on how to do my job.  I meet with HR today to find out more as far as severance and that goes.   Fun So...really no time to worry about surgery.  (Also I (my momma, she's the best) just bought an outfit for interveiws).  But I am eating better, and the psych has me on Ritalin (Kills my appatite).  So, I'm down probably 15 or more pounds since my initial consultation.  My home scale read 352 the other morning.  My wife is doing very well on the program, she's kinda stall, but if fitting in dresses from 2 years ago.  I can understand the stall with everything going on right now. My mom had an angiogram(sp?) and she is fine and cleared for surgery, so one more bandster in the family. To everyone who has had surgery since I was last on Congrats, all those vets, Great Job, and all hoping for surgery good luck.  I will be joining the losers bench all in good time.

Hi BigP, I was wondering where you went off too!  Sounds like you've had your plate full for a while now!  Glad to hear about the weightloss and hopefully you'll still win your appeal!  Wow and congrats for your mother!  Tell your wife to stick to her guns, that the stalls only feel like they go on forever!  The scale will be moving for her again very soon I'm sure! Good luck on your job search and maybe the best is yet to come!!  LOL....maybe even better and easier insurance to boot!! Don't be a stranger and tell your wife to pop in too!!

Well, I talk to the Drs. Office and UHC is currently reveiwing my stuff.  Thats the good news.   The bad news is that I met with HR too.  I went in thinking that it was just going to be a confirmation of me leaving and that an exit strategy was going to be in place.  Well..............I was wrong.  They gave me my term date.  Freakin' June 13th is my last day.  Oh, and the best part.  My severance package is a whole 4 weeks of pay.   But, as Gloria Gaynor once said....I will survive.
