Anthem Blue Access PPO & revisions?
Post Date: 5/12/08 10:02 am
I didn't have Anthem for my open rny 3 yrs ago but I have anthem now. I've been having some major reflux issues going on and I have a appt with a gastro doc to see whats going on down there. I have gained some weight. I'm worried that the acid might have made a hole in my pouch and thats why I don't feel full anymore and why I've gained. If any of u have Anthem what was their criteria for a revision? I did call them but I've been on hold for 30 mins. I'm impatient. I thought I'd come here first and see if anyone else has been thru this.
Thanks
Ange

there are so many people on the DS board who have had a revision. I don't know anything about it but I thought you might post over there or go to the revision board, someone there might be able to help. Hope you get it all worked out.
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
