Hey there I'm back!

I actually got home Friday afternoon.  St. Vincent's is the best hospital I have ever seen, so clean, organized and friendly.  It was as pleasant an experience as surgery can be. Dr. Inman said my surgery went well and I am scheduled for my first follow up on May 12.  I am eating well and having no problems getting in fluids.  I can't really ask for anything more.  I get my drain removed tomorrow morning and then it's just a matter of regaining my energy and learning how to live with my surgery. Thanks for all your encouragement and for the warm spot on the bench!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

I wish I would've had the DS. My surgeon didn't offer it though so I never even researched it until after I had RNY.. lol Good Luck!

honestly, I was headed for a RNY when I learned that it existed and only went to a seminar because I like to have all the information I can before I made my decision.  So far I am doing well, still feeling like I've been hit by a bus but eating and drinking is going good.  Thanks
