I am home
Hi Olivia, so glad you did well....the gas pains aren't actually in the stomach so nothing you can take by mouth will help..you can't belch it or release it the other way. It eventually will work itself out..What this is caused from is when Dr. Tom blows up the belly cavity so that he can see to do laparoscopic..(you saw that in his video)...he tries to push some of it out after he removes the instruments, etc but honestly the only thing that helps is movement. Get up and walk..I have also heard patients say that rocking in a chair may help. Don't worry the pain doesn't last long, just a few days. Hang in there you are doing great!!

Glad all went well and everyone is right...move around and it will help break it up and releive that pain! I stayed in the hospital that night because I know how bad that gas ball can get and it made me get up and move around when I would have to go to the bathroom. 10 times that night! But it worked and no gas ball. After my first round with it on my first c-section I swore I would never feel that again! I thought I was having a heart attack with it!
