window of misery!!!

I can't remember what this is for sure, can someone enlighten me, I have had a bad stomach ache for 2 days now. and it gets worse at times, I feel like I can't eat anything, but I am getting hungry. I hope I just have something that is gonna pass. please answer if you can. lisa

Hey Lisa, I'm just a bandster but this sounds like what my sis started complaining about maybe 3 or 4 weeks after her RNY in May 2007.  Ended up that she had developed an ulcer.  The doc was willing to try the meds before the scope though and it fixed the problem!  Hopefully that's not what your problem ends up being but keep a close check on it and maybe call the doc in the morning just to be on the safe saide!

I am doing quite a bit better, I am thinking it is from where I had stomach, acid reflux and esophagus problems before surgery, I have doubled my prevacid and it seems to be helping, I called the nurse yesterday, and she said if doubling up helped let her know and she would chenge my prescription!!      thanks so much for checking on me, I just love this board and all the caring people here, thank you all so much for being here for me and everyone that has problems or questions!!!! Hey Lisa, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.  I'm finally able to eat a little meat now - but haven't tried chicken again.  Take care and stay well !!

hi Bonnie, I am glad you can eat meat, I bet you can eat chicken now if you can eat other meat. I eat chicken all the time, I just make sure to chew chew chew before I swallow it.     I have cleaned house all day, only bad thing about company coming is cleaning the house good before they get here, haha. talk to you soon, Lisa
