Hey there! I'm in the same boat as you are. I had my RNY surgery 2/20 and have lost 32ish pounds so far. Unfortunately the past 10 days I've been at the same weight and it is so frustrating. I saw my nutritionist today and we talked about the issue. He said that it is probably water weight and not to worry. He also said stalls will happen. It sounds like you're doing everything right, just be patient. Have you taken your measurements? I hope this helps. By the way, how much have you lost so far?
I know its frustrating when you hit a stall but you will start losing weight again. Usually when we stall we are losing inches. Anytime when i would stall if i would increase my calories just a tiny bit i would start losing weight again. I even think i hit a slow down at about 2 months out. I am now 7 months out and have lost 122 lbs. It will start again for you.. sounds like you are doing everything right!
thanks for all the info, I have lost 40 pounds since Feb.12th, I weghed 259 when i got home from the hospital and now I weigh 219, I haven't weighed myself in a couple days, I was getting obsessed weighing every day, so I am going to try and go until Tuesday to weigh myself again.
It does feel like some of my clothes are getting bigger on me. I guess that is good.
I hit a brick wall also around that time I was not eating enough ,could not belive I had t eat more but that was the prob as soon as I picked up more calories my body said hey I am not starving & let the weight drop off ,good luck stall was my name I stalled alot but when I did stall I was lossing inches good luck & hang in there

sounds to me like you have hit a stall...step away from the scale - hide it in your closet if you have to. Take your measurements and compare them to your measurements preop that'll give you a boost. Hang in there you'll be losing again, your body just needs time to readjust itself.
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
