Voc rehab experiences?

Hi all... I was wondering if anyone on here had experiences in getting surgery through Vocational Rehabilitation and what that was like.  I have an appointment to meet with them and from my phone conversations it sounds very promising.  Clue me in if you have some insight! I recently applied for life insurance thru Monumental Life and found out today that they rejected my app based on my medical history (which is literally perfect), it had to be my weight but they didnt indicate that.  Yet another weight discriminating agency. -Charles

I did not go through Voc. Rehab however my husband works for them and he has told me that the surgery has been paid for using their services before. The main issue is that it has to be proven that your weight has interfered with finding productive, sustainable employment. I hope this helps, good luck on your journey.
