This one time....in
Band Camp.....

Well, today has been another oddball day with my diet!  My mood had bottomed out this morning (typical PMS), I copped an attitude and decided I could eat a honeybun for breakfast!  WRONG!!!  It came right back up so I suppose those calories didn't count huh?  I didn't eat anything else afterwards as I simply wasn't hungry.  I did make my usual coffee latte and then forgot about it!  It's still sitting here by my computer!  LOL...may as well heat it back up! Gracie and I also went to the movies this afternoon and I had about 1cup of popcorn (no butter).  I wasn't digging it like I usually do though.  Any other time I'd be good for atleast a half a bag!   By time we got home from the movies I only had time to change clothes and put on make-up and leave for support group so I didn't have time to eat anything.  Once we got there I remembered that I had my "emergency" protein bar stashed in the bottom of my purse so I ate half of it (it was the big Snicker's one).  For dinner I finally ate a half order of steak nachos.  Now, I know I had the calories to spare but I know it wasn't the best choice I could have made! We won't even begin to talk about fluids or exercise which were non-existent!!! Oh well, maybe my diet and mood will be back to normal tomorrow!

I think we all have those crazy days.  I did exercise for 25 minutes on the treadmill an improvement for which I am happy.   I have religious meetings on Tuesdays so I don't get to go support group.  Why are most of them on Tuesdays??  But anyway here's my intake.  B- Banana Creme Whey Protein Drink, L- Garden salad with grilled chicken, Snack - Soyjoy Apple Protein Bar, D- tried to eat about 2 oz of the imitation lobster I had left and it decided to stick.  Needless to say I don't get to count that protein and loss my appetite.  Liquids - 2 cups of tea, 2 bottles of Propel and 1 bottle of plain water.   It seems our taste run alike.  Before the band I found these chocolate covered honey buns and fell in love.  I had two left, my husband saved me from myself and ate them (he really shouldn't have, he's diabetic)  I had not tried but eventually I would have taken a bite.  Now the popcorn, well, I have not be able to quite get it under control so I only eat it at the movies.  It is my favorite, even more than chocolate.   I have faith the this off day of yours will pass and you will be back to yourself.  Until tomorrow. Hey Z, there's a support group on the fourth thursday of every month at suburban hospital    beckkkkkkkka, you and that upchucking!!! do you protein powder in your coffee? glad to see ya'll tonight.    Will post food today! promise! dawn

Now I didn't PB on the rice-a-roni the other night.   It just spoke to me loudly that it wasn't going to be on my food list anymore.  I decided to go and take a hot shower to give it time to work it's way DOWN which it eventually did with a lot of belching to help.    But you are right, I think I am starting to get stuck way too frequently.  Maybe I am at my point of restriction and need to pay better attention!  Maybe i'll always be able to eat more than a cup (if I tried) and should use that as my measure. Thanks for keeping me real!
