WELL, it didnt work 4 me...

I had my surgery in July 2007.  I have only lost 20 p.   I am so miserable.  The band is too tight or too loose...  I feel like such a failure.  I dont know what to do.....Help mmmeeeee....

Have you talked with your surgeon? Sounds like he should be brought into this and asked......

Lisa,  Im not sure how to help with you without some more information.. What do you eat are you drinking fluids?? Can you attend a support group meeting? Give us some more info hun,, The great thing about the band is you can always start over.. dawn

Hi Lisa, I am so sorry you are feeling this way.  You are not a failure.  The band doesn't work for everyone.  Have you tried posting on the LapBand Forum for help?  If you are interested in a revision to DS come on over to the DS Forum there are lots of great people who have had revisions and are willing to answer your questions.  Hang in there honey.

LisaAnn, Did you check into the hiatal hernia that we talked about yet?  If the band isn't working for you there's no reason to be embarressed but please don't give up without a fight!!  The good thing about the band is it can come out if needed and as Vicki said you DO HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!!
