support meeting tomorrow?

hi all I am preop and hoping to start attending some support meetings. I am trying to go tomorrow, but need to know where it is and what time it begins.  If anyone could tell me that would be great. thanks have a great night

Hello, I assume you are talking about the Norton's WLS Support Group in Louisville.  If so, the meeting is indeed Tuesday evening @ 6pm.  Have you been for your psych and nutritional consults yet?  If so, the meeting is in that same building but in the basement.  I think it's called the Cramer Auditirium or something close to that.  If you went for the initial seminar downtwon it's in that same room. Long version is that it's at the Norton's pavilion building on Broadway and Floyd.  You can park in the Gray Street Garage behind the pavillion on the 3rd level and there's a pedway to get into the building.  You'll have to wind your way through the building to find an elevator but at least you don't have to street park.  Thanks, Happy, for clarifying meeting place and time.  Dr. J. Allen is my surgeon and my surgery is 2 weeks from today.!!!  I'm thinking about going tonight.  I just got word last week about this.  It has taken sooo long to get all the paperwork through, that I feel I need to get psyched up for the big day.  I just joined this network over the week-end and still learning my way around.  Being a teacher, I am on spring break now and have time to read what all are saying and continue to do research on the subject.     By the way, I LOVE your name.  In HS, I was glad not to be in the band, because they worked so hard.  Perhaps, if I'd been in THAT band, I would not be in the shape I am today, in need of the Lap Band.  Anyway, thanks again for the post!  Jeanie

I'll be there.  Decided to bring Gracie tonight too.  She'll be with grandma next week from Wed to Sun so I figured i'd just keep her with me this week.  Ricahrd is hoping to get back from Cleveland area soon enough today to make it but won't know till closer how he's doing on time.  The idiot went up there to look at a drag car he's droling over.   Why can't he have normal hobbies like golf or softball?

Congrats on your surgery date!  You are now #6 from on or near the KY board to have an April surgery date!  My husband does not post here but a few have met him at the support groups and I keep everyone posted on his shenanigans! Dr.Allen is a good choice!  He assisted on my sister's RNY with Dr. Tanner.  She thinks a lot of him. Thanks for the compliment on my name.  I never was good at an instrument to be in band.  I did try the violin in grade school but I wasn't very good.   LOL...my name actually comes from the movie Amercian Pie......."This one time, in band camp......."

I forgot about the meeting! Dang......I guess I may have to finese something so I can go. I can barely remember my own name most days now!  Hope to see everyone there!
