Ok I think I just need to vent a little bit. I am so sad & discouraged. I keep stalling and I mean just keep stalling. I will lose 2-3 pounds and then stay the same for weeks at a time. Then lose 2-3 pounds. I am really getting discouraged and keep thinking that this is it for me. I am so sad.  I am almost 7 months out and have lost 102 lbs which is great but is this is for me? I stay very active (work full time, go to school full time, work part time, do an internship for school, work out 3-5 times a week cardio & weights, and am a mom to 2 young kids). I am freaking out. I don't get enough liquids in I know so I am really trying to work on that. Maybe that will help me out.  Oh well thanks for listening to me talk your ear off.

Hey Dannyell, I'm a bandster so can't offer you any personal suggestions but I think I remember hearing at the seminar last month that the window of opportunity for weightloss with RNY is something like 18 to 24 months?  Maybe your body is just trying to catch up with your loss?  I bet you'll continue to loose but it simply won't be as fast as the first 100 pounds were. I have to say though that you look great and try not to be so hard on yourself!  Maybe try to measure your success in other areas for a bit and ignore the scale for a while!

Oh honey I am a bandster but I know that you aren't done.. Dr. Curry on the lapband board says that stalls are the bodies way of catching up... He also suggests upping your protein a lil bit and your fluids also.. It's normal and Girl, 100 pounds is nothing to sneeze at!! You are doing great!!! See you next thursday???  I have found out that by the time support group rolls around im really in need of some spirit lifting~!!!   Have a great day!! Dawn

Dont get discouraged!  You have done amazing!  That is weight that will never come back!!People lose at different rates but its the end result that counts!  Its how you feel and i know you have to be proud of the progress you have made so far!  I know i am I love my RNY!!!  I know when i stall if i eat a little more then i start to lose again...and i am guilty of not getting in my water alot of times..(probably most often NOT!)  Keep up the good work... you have many more months of losing ahead of you!
