How do you do it????
I am so frustrated everyday I have to take a handful of pills move them around so they are not a meal, get in 40-60 gr of protein and then get in 60 oz of water. I have done the math please tell me how to do this? And if I manage to do it how do I go to work constantly siping something or taking a few pills, or bites of protien?
Help!!!!!!
Its so hard to get in the fluids. It seems that winter time is more of a challenge for me. I like a hot drink when i get up. Seems to keep my pouch clear. I have hot tea. But i use decaf. so not much energy from that. But for protein you may need to buy some protein powder and make sf pudding and just try and eat on it as much as you can. Are the pills getting stuck?or are you just tired of them? I would give you this advice for sure, take all the supplements it keeps us on track and with these issues it might be a good idea to talk them over with your doc. It does get easier, its just a routine we have to learn to live with. But please just look at the out come. You can succed its just a lot of work. You take care.

Hi Jessica, i understand fully. This is what i do gnc pro complex protein powder,55grms protein, its sugar free to,i mix it with carb countdown milk from walmart and i mix it with cold milk and then i put it in the microwave. Add 2 packets of splenda. Just like hot chocolate. Or i take sf pudding and mix it in that just make the puddind as the package says and i eat on 4 or 5 times a day. And i will tell you that at 2 1/2 yrs out i had my pouch measured and it is the size of a thumb and it is very hard for me. I eat 8 times a day. I have 2 protein shakes, eggs, cheese, ham cheese rollups,i mean it is unreal what i have to consume to maintain at 132lbs. Last yr at this time i was 108lbs and was getting food from a tube. It is so important to push yourself as much as you can. Plus i get so full from drinking i get sick. So please try and drink and the protein is the only way that i met my goal. I was 260lbs and met my goal in 6 mo. I hope i have offered a little help lol. But just take it easy your still fairly new to this.

I know what you're going through!! Have you tried the Nectar protein powders? I start my day off (at 3:30am)with a multivitamin, pepcid, iron and water pill. I then mix one scoop of Caribbean Cooler Nectar with one packet of Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade and 18-20 oz of water. It's 23g of protein plus whatever water you used. 2 hours later I take 3 Calcium Citrate pills. At 7am I eat yogurt (Kroger CarbSmart), it has 12g of protein. 9am I try to drink as much as possible. I usually take a 20oz bottle of water to work and sip on it all day. Lunch is 11:15. I eat some chicken or tuna, both are high protein. Last break at 1:30pm I take 3 more calcium pills and drink, drink, drink!!!! By the time I get off work I've usually had about 50-55g of protein and at least 40oz of water. It's all downhill from there. At bedtime I take my other vitamin and a stool softener. I know this sounds like alot but once you get your own routine down it'll be so much easier on you. Another word of advice---FIBER!! Without it and water you will become constipated and thats no fun. Believe me, I know from experience!!!
HANG IN THERE AND GOOD LUCK!!!!
