I didn't get my fill today!!

....because he said i've lost well enough on this last fill and do not need another one yetl!   I guess I lost count because I truly didn't realize how much I actually lost!  According to the scale there I lost 11.6 pounds since the fill I had 6 weeks ago.  I tried to talk him onto a "little" fill but he said he'd consider it based on how I'm doing in another 3 weeks.  LOL, I talked him down to 2 weeks though since Richard has his appointment with him on the 26th and we could carpool! It feels good to know that I'm losing a good amount but I really think I could have used a small tweak (I was thinking about .5cc).  I'm much more nibbly now than I was even 2 weeks ago and I can eat bread again without difficulty! Oh well, I guess that's why I pay him the big bucks!  Guess I'll just have to stick to my rules REALLY close and not nosh on the bad stuff!!

Becka my visit couple weeks ago Dr R. did the  same thing no fill, he used the new chart on his wall the yellow, green, red and he said I havent gained and I lost 3 more lbs since last 6 weeks so no fill  but I am struggling so on March 31 I am begging him to give me a fill  When is Richard having his surgery or has he had it?

He goes in to see Dr. Larson for the surgery consult on the 25th.  Unless Dr. L wants a stress test or a doppler done he's got all the preliminaries done.  His nurse Olivia assured me that given Dr. L's schedule it's totally feasible that he could have his surgery within 4 weeks of this consult assuming there are no kinks in the plan of course!  So I'm thinking maybe he'll hop on the bandwagon somewhere around the 2nd week of April give or take. I am also scheduled to see Dr. Larson on the 25th and plan on pleading my case to him once again!  I really can tell a difference in my hunger level and i'm not getting that sensation in my chest (can't say it's actually a stuck feeling ya know) when I eat anymore.  I'm just going to have to watch myself closely until then! 

It's kind of good to hear that most of the doctors are following the same play book in that if you are losing weight steadily they don't give a fill.  And it also seems like we are all the same in that when we work hard to lose the weight we want a fill as a reward.  I sure did.  But just the same, I did not get one.   I am wishing all of us the strength to overcome the temptation to overeat and to survive until our next fill.  Whenever we get it.
