LISA HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD TO HER RECOVERY!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa(lizzydarlin aka iamasweetheart) got up from her chair Wednsday Feb 27th and could not breath I (neil her husband) gave her oxygen and called the ems. Lisa was rushed back to the hospital where they figured out that a blood clot has gone through her filter breaking it up into several small peices taveling to her lungs and heart giving her a mild heart attack too. Lisa is back in ICCU at st.luke west for about 3 to4 days and then will be staying at the FAC for at least 2 weeks. DR. Sonnastine said that she is very lucky this time if she didnt have the filter in she would have died as soon as she stood up and she had angels watching over her. Lisa also said that she did not want to scare anyone waiting for their surgery and she would do this all over again if she had to. I (neil) just have Two things to say if you have the chance to get the filter Lisa a living proof that it works it saved her life and Dr. sonnastine was great he was sitting waiting for lisa in ICCU before she even got here. She asked me to be there the day of surgery, but I unfortunately could not make it. If she would like me to visit her please let me know. I will gladly come by the hospital on Friday, I do have to work Sat and Sun and will not be available...please give her my best. Brenda

She is in my thoughts and prayers. I too have the filter. They think it might have contributed to my stroke. But I am still glad I had it since 1 year before I had the Pulmonry Embolus (blood clot to the lungs). Tell Lisa to keep up her faith. And she is lucky like me to have a good man at her side.
