Keeping track - 2/21/08
Hello! It's a cold and boring day here! Nothing much going on other than housework and keeping up with a pre-schooler. Some days I miss my 9 - 5 grind. At least for 8 hours a day I got to be "Rebecca." Usually Gracie will get me out of this funk by asking me to come snuggle with her while she watches Sleeping Beauty (for the 263rd time) or the like! I actually prefer the stay at home mommy role but I do have my times where I get soooo bored!
FOOD
S - 8oz of light Grapefruit juice - 40 calories, 0 fat, 10 carb, 0 protein
B - English Toffee Latte (coffee w/ a cup of 1%milk, 3 splenda and a shot of reg syrup) - 170 calories, 2.5 fat, 30 carb, 8 protein
L - 4 BK chicken nuggets - 170 calories, 10 fat, 11 carb, 9 protein
S - String cheese (70 cal, 4 fat, 0 carb, 8 protein) and some raw veggie sticks
D - Mahi Mahi filet, 3 bites of mashed potatoes and 2 bites of green beans....then I ralphed!
About an hour later I had cottage cheese with pineapple
S - 1/2 cup frozen yougurt......not the best choice but it was calling my name!

I don't have children, so I've never had a good reason NOT to work--other than just wanting some time off. But I can't imagine staying home for longer than my traditional summers off. I admire women who choose to stay home with their kids, but I think not working would drive me crazy!
Here's what my day looks like:
FOOD
B -- 6 oz. lite yogurt and 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal (stirred together)
L -- tomato soup and a 100-calorie pack of wheat thins
S -- hot cocoa and a nonni's biscotti (YUMMY!)
D -- chicken and pasta dinner and a tangerine
EXERCISE
45 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes of weight-lifting

I love staying home parttime with kitkat but I like going to work on the days I work, most of the time..
Wow I am so tired of nasty weather!! I had to leave work early and go get Kit Kat at daycare because They closed due to weather!!! So then I talked Todd into coming home because I didn't want to get stuck in town again.. Ok on for food....... welcome Kathy!
