yeast infection!!

I guess they overdosed me on antibiotics in the hopsital, and now I am getting nasty yeast infection, have any of you experienced this after you got out, and also did they prescribe you diflucon, i think that may be how you spell it, or close to it, it is a one dose pill, i have one here with me, anyone has surgery and was prescrbied this for it? if so let me know, afraid to take anything right now, and cant get to talk to nurse until after 4:30 tomorrow evening and my doc in on vacation. thanks for any repiles!! lisa

Oh My yea!!! i had the same problem. I had never had a yeast infection that bad! I literally told my mother either i get some meds to fix this or im going to the ER in an ambulance for this! She laughed..but i was serious. My mother is a nurse so my whining was kind of entertaining for her. LOL! What i did was i got the one day yeast infection treatment at walmart it was around $13.50 and i got the medicated summers eve wipes (max. strenght) and the medicated powder cream. it dries to a clear smooth finish without being pasty. It all worked like a charm. Chea

Diflucan is wonderful medicine.  It should help as long as you can take it.
