Update, almost 2 months post op
Almost 2 months post VR
emoticon:Well Feb 26 will be 2 months since my hubby's vr. We didn't really try last month. He'd got promoted at work and was going thru some stress with the change. I didn't want to add more stress to him. Plus we realize that it could take up to 3 months for his body to produce sperm again. It had been 6 yrs exactly since his vasectomy. I started spotting Sunday so I know my period is about to start. Now all we gotta do is start counting the days lol. I think I'll just molest him everyday, u know, to make sure all the bases are covered. I get those ovulation test strips. 20 come in a package and u r supposed to start using them the day after your period ends. So I'll do that too. I'm also considering buying a new microscope from our local school supply store. I'd read on here that someone got one from a school supply store and had good luck with it. I sent that Toys R Us one back. It was a piece of crap. I know it would take a lot of stress and worry off me if I just knew he actually had swimmers. Next Friday he has a appt with our PCP for a check up and get his med refills. He's diabetic and has been since before we met. He's on 2 different kinds of pills for it. I'm going to ask our pcp for a order for a semen analysis to take to the hospital. The hospital said that way if our pcp orders it, our insurance may pay for most of it. If our surgeon does it at the 3 month mark we have to pay. It can't hurt to check. I realize the numbers might not be good or great this early but at least we'd know. Anyways, I'm getting excited about trying again. I'm going to try to incorporate a lil romance in this. Sometimes I think we get busy and forget the romance, the sweet stuff u know. Take care everyone. Good luck to those of u ttc and congrats to those of u who are pg!
