Hey there, not a problem at all! I'm going to skip the Support Group tonight as well since all of this mess outside is supposed to re-freeze after dark.  Not sure I want to be out at that point!  I might try to go to the Y this afternoon more to give Gracie something to do than anything.  They have an excellent child care room there that she loves to go to.  It has that suspended tunnel thing that always reminds me of hamster tubes!  I'm also fairly grumpy and antsy for some reason so maybe a little workout for me will help that too! FOOD S - 1/2 cup s/f caramel latte B - 1/2 cup BBQ pulled pork and about 6 baked Lays chips L - 1/2 cup Tuna Salad on lettuce D - Pot Roast w/ carrots and potatoes, maybe some cole slaw

My last fill was two weeks ago tomorrow.  I've only lost 3.2 lbs.  It's TOM though so I haven't gone near the scale for 2 days.  Hopefully i'll see another drop in a couple of days. I have finally gotten SOME restriction with this fill but I think I can stand a small tweak still.  Some foods are now getting stuck when I try to eat them.  Bread, dry meats and hashbrown are not my friend anymore.  As you know I was wanting to get to the point where bread wasn't easy (less temptation).  According to Dr. Larson's NUT though I should only be able to consume somewhere between 1/2 to 1 whole cup per meal in volume once I get to the right fill level.  I can still eat a cup of chili and maybe 4 or 5 crackers with a little peanut butter.  Most times I keep it to 1 cup though. You've lost 60 pounds now.  I bet your band does need a fill as it's probably looser now than it was before the first of the year.  Does Dr. Shina listen to his patients or do what he thinks is best?  Maybe if you asked him for a SMALL fill it would do the trick.  Even if you had to go back again you would run less chance of ending up too tight. LOL...my mother the professional bandster thinks I should only eat 1/2 a cup per meal and that Dr. L should "pump me up."  (She's at 3.7cc on a 4cc band herself so she thinks I might need that much too).  I had to remind her that she's 3 years out and AT GOAL thus she's lost most of the fat pad around her stomach as well. *edited for typos - I think I need to go back to school!

" I can still eat a cup of chili and maybe 4 or 5 crackers with a little peanut butter. " I can do this and figure it's about right. Holly, Dr. shina's nurse says that you should be able to eat properly without feeling hugely full, just comfortable.. So I figure thats good cause I love chili.. "Some foods are now getting stuck when I try to eat them.  " I so dont like this feeling and dont want to be there. lol. I think its interesting to see the levels of restriction people like to keep. I have panic attatcks if mine is really really tight. I hate that feeling!!! "Does Dr. Shina listen to his patients or do what he thinks is best?  Maybe if you asked him for a SMALL fill it would do the trick.  Even if you had to go back again you would run less chance of ending up too tight."  I think he will, I think I might call Holly and see what she says.. Then go from there. I would like to adjust it a hair bit in march, so that it would be loosened up by june, im going on vacation and dont want to have to worry about it being extremely tight...  Your mom cracks me up! what size band do u have? have you asked? I miss the support group I enjoy going but man its nasty outside... Wonder if missy is ok... she hasnt been posting lately   dawn

And here I thought I was the only one who went into Panic attack mode!   It's wild!  I start pacing, stretching in odd angles and just keep trying to burp repeatedly hoping to dislodge it.  Sometimes it works and twice now I gave up and got rid of it the other way!  Richard says I look like a caged animal!   I'm placing the stuck episodes directly on my shoulders though since it's not an every meal event.  For three months now I've been cruising along not really having to make sure I take REALLY small bites and chew chew chew.  I think I just need to slow down and concentrate!

Oh yeah, mom and I have the same size band, 4cc. Isn't it wild how the MD's all have there own protocol for doing things even though they are all part of Norton's? The support group was canceled (saw it on the closings list on 32).  Hope no one actually tried to make down there!   You're right, I haven't seen Missy post in a while now.  Hope everythings OK with her.  Maybe she's just been busy with family and such.
