post-op vitamins

Right after surgery I too was told childrens chewable vitamins, but check with your doctor.  I am 2 years out and I still take 2 multivitamins a day.  I do prenatal, generic got is so minimal and I also take a B complex which is also very cheap.  Good luck but Like i said Take what your doctor wants you to take.  Jane

My surgeon and Dietitian both recommended Pre-Natal vitamins.  They said they have a higher vitamin content and that they would be the best bet.  Per my surgeons instructions I take two a day.  I buy the Walgreens brand.  I get a bottle of 240 (4 month supply) for $17.99.  I recently saw my doc and he said my bloodwork was textbook perfect.  Plus being a male, if I happen to be the first man to get pregnant then I have a head start on the pre-natals.
